Enjoying an early morning work period

We had a different morning routine–I think it might have been the first morning we have been inside this year! Thank you for all your help bringing the children to the front door when the sign was out by the tablet. It was also exciting for many of the students because they were able to sneak a peek at the beautiful books at the book fair!

The 2022 Natural Pumpkin Fashion Show & Our book fair!

Hello, dear Parents!

Today, you should receive instructions for our Natural Pumpkin Fashion Show.

Just in case they don’t make it home, here’s a copy:

I also wanted to remind you all about our wonderful Book Fair next week! It will be in the front building during morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up hours (including the 2:30 time frame). A teacher can let you in the front building whenever you are ready to go look at books!

Ms. Adriane runs the book fair and will help you place an order. Most are samples that you and your child can admire to help narrow down your choices between so many excellent books!

Afternoon playtime and a home for some red wigglers!

The older friends helped create a temporary environment for a group of red wigglers. The children even help add the worms to the jar with their hands, if they choose to handle them! They will study how these worms help mix and fertilize the soil. This demonstration is a favorite–we’ll see how the worms affect the sand and soil layers when we peek in on them in about a week!
