The children practiced pointillism today during Messy Art Day. During this lesson, the classrooms are usually (almost) silent because the children are so immersed in their art!

We had such a lovely Splash Day in this gorgeous weather!

I love the mixed age grouping of the Montessori classroom—it’s magic to observe the quiet focus of a young friend with their pouring lesson versus the chatty, friendly brainstorming of a group of 5 year old friends as they write a birthday party invitation list.

I’ve attached the recipe so you all can make ocean slime at home!

We hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend! Splash Day, though a little shorter today due to the weather, was a blast!
