Our Valentine’s Day project!
Hello, dear Parents!
On Valentine’s Day, we are going to share Birthday Joy with our Austin neighbors and help make a Birthday Box for children in foster care!
Here’s the link to the Sharing Happy Birthdays website.
More details will head your way at the Parent Meeting for your child’s class (only two or so weeks from now!).
We will also have our traditional card exchange on Friday, February 14th.

What’s on our calendar for this month?
Hello, dear Parents!
I have attached January’s calendar for the toddler and primary classrooms. I list our holidays and celebrations as well as certain focus areas of instruction in the primary class. Even though I have these activities scheduled for a specific day, the primary teachers pull together small groups throughout the week for instruction. I also stock the shelves with supplementary for our science and language focus topics. I want to emphasize that these small groups can include anyone who would like to watch and participate. They’re also similar to icing on a delicious cake. They add to the Montessori curriculum but do not take the place of the weekly lessons that the teachers plan for the individual children.
Please let me know if you have any questions at all!
