The Great Pumpkin Challenge 2019

Hello, dear Parents!

Our first Poetry Recitals of the year are this weekend! Ms. Jeeical’ s class will have their recital on Saturday, 10/5, at 9 am. Ms. Gabi’s class will have their poetry recital on 10/5 at 10 am.

The primary classrooms are making cheesy corn casserole this week. The toddlers will make fried bananas. Yum!

Did this morning feel slightly cooler to anyone else on this second day of Fall 2019? We have had two chicks hatch at school. The second needed a little help. In the first picture, I am describing the inside of an egg from an newly hatched chick before showing it to the children. They were able to see the membrane inside the egg and a small bit of leftover yolk.

Hello Parents!

Thank you all for the HEB bags!

On Thursday, the primary classrooms will practice a lockdown. These drills are mandated by the state. A lockdown allows us to practice moving quickly inside as a group if the outside environment becomes unsuitable for any reason (like last week when the storm suddenly blew dust all over our playground from the construction next door!). We try to beat two minutes! Please let me know if you have any questions about the drill at all.
