We will also have a clothing swap on Saturday during the poetry recital! An email detailing the event will be sent your way today. Continue readingThe Rube Goldberg video assignment, due 10/15
Hello, dear Parents!
Please see the attached file for our Rube Goldberg video assignment. All videos are due 10/15 so we can have a viewing party on Friday, 10/17 with popcorn!
This assignment is geared towards the 4-year-old friends to support their work with the simple machines that they have completed in afternoon circle. It’s such a fun assignment, however, that younger friends are more than welcome to complete a machine with their parents and submit a video.
Please let me know if you have any questions at all! I look forward to seeing all the creative Rube Goldberg machines that your children complete.
Thank you,
Rachel
A beautiful fall afternoon
We hope you are also enjoying this lovely weather.
Please come visit the book fair next week! Ms. Adriane will have everything set up on Monday and will be ready to greet you all.
Continue readingA project and an experiment!
The younger friends made graham cracker train tracks today (complete with raisins as the sleeper rails!) and the older friends experimented with cause and effect, inclined planes, and friction. Their goal was to make a continuous track that would cause the marble they placed in one end of the track to roll into a cup of water at the other end of the track.

Liquid precipitation is falling from the sky!
Yes, it finally happened 🙂 Our garden won’t be so parched tomorrow morning.
