Hello, dear Parents,
I wanted to share that Soccer Shots has available positions for their Winter Program. If you would like to sign your child up to play soccer, please visit this site and search for “Marimont Montessori” under locations.
Just a reminder that sneakers/tennis shoes with Velcro are the only invited footwear for school. Please save all other shoes for home. If your child would really love to show off their new boots, or, in the case of this Friday, if it’s raining during the drop-off period and you would like them to wear wellingtons, please bring a change of sneakers for them. We will change the children into sneakers if they are wearing other types of footwear, but I may call you to bring a change of shoes if we don’t have the appropriate size for them.
Finally, the younger friends will make milk bread on Thursday. The ingredients will be milk, bread flour, yeast, sugar, salt, egg, butter, and olive oil. I’m sorry that I couldn’t figure out a way to make this recipe allergy-friendly! Please bring an alternate snack for your younger child on Thursday if they have an allergy.

Hello, dear Parents,
Just a reminder to please turn in your teacher gifts to the office on Wednesday. I will be out of town on Thursday for a family event and I will also miss Friday.
The Book Exchange is on Thursday, however! The teachers will take pictures of the children opening up their books–the wrapping paper is sometimes their favorite part 🙂

Hello, dear Parents,
Just a reminder that our classroom Book Exchange is this Thursday, 12/18, during morning circle. Please send your child to school with a gift-wrapped book that morning for their assigned friends. If you’re not sure who they are bringing a book for, please reach out to the teachers and they will let you know.
Thank you for all your support at the Poetry Recital. You all raised a little over $1,000 dollars for our teacher training! I appreciate it so much.

Hello, dear Parents!
Tomorrow is our first Book Swap!
The event will occur during the classroom poetry recitals. You’ll see all the different books available for the swap on the front benches close to the c-drive.
While the Poetry Recitals and the Book Swap occurs, please feel free to enjoy the playground and buy treats and beverages from our bake sale.
NEW INFORMATION: There will also be a beautiful selection of wooden ornaments, pendants, and earrings featuring the Marimont logo for sale near the bake sale. My daughter, Tesla, designed our Marimont logo. You can use the Venmo code to purchase the items.
The funds raised will help cover quality staff training through the year. We’ll raise money for training with this bake sale, the ornaments/pendants, and the art show in April. We appreciate your support!
