Hello, dear Parents,

Just a reminder about a few upcoming events:

1. Our first Poetry Recital will be this Saturday, 10.5. Please visit the link to sign up or email if you need any further information.

2. Please order your Marimont shirts here by 10.8. The link will close in just 5 days!

3. On 10.9, we will have an optional hearing and vision screening. Please let us know if you would like form to sign your child up for the screening.

4. Picture Day is on Thursday, 10.17. The children will take photos in front of a green screen, so please avoid dressing them in green. We will send home a participation form in about a week and will also send home just a few more reminders about the event 🙂

Last month, the children spent time learning about simple machines. This week, we’ve learned about what a Rube Goldberg is and how it works in crazy and fantastic ways!

Here’s a video we love to show to the children to introduce the concept.

We watch the video and try to spot all the simple machines we can!

The older friends are brainstorming a design for a Rube Goldberg machine they would like to build. We’re working together in the older group to build one small step using a simple machine this week.
