The children had so much fun playing in the water and with the bubbles!–and, of course, eating the watermelon 🙂

And tomorrow is our second Splash Day of the year–barring lightning and thunder 🙂

We will be flexible with our activities and the weather this week. We hope it will rain, but maybe just a little later in the day!

I also wanted to let you know that I will be on vacation for a week starting on 6.12. Ms. Jerical helps with the blog, but there may not be a daily post. If you need immediate help with anything or have an urgent communication, please call the office and Mr. James will be able to assist you.

Tomorrow is our first movie and popcorn day!

We let the children vote for the movie they will enjoy each week, but all choices will be family-friendly and rated G. Examples of potential movies are: the Scholastic book series, Blue’s Room, Umi Space Heroes, Kipper, Super Why, Bob the Builder, Space Buddies, Little People, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, the Backyardigans, Octonauts, Cars, Paw Patrol, Stuart Little, Wall E, The Emperor’s New Groove, Rio, Bubble Guppies, Curious George, the Sword in the Stone, the Peanuts Movie, Frozen, Peppa Pig, Room on the Broom, the Gruffalo, Doc McStuffins, Elmo in Grouchland, Tigger and Pooh, and Winnie the Pooh.

We had a delightful cold front blow through the area this morning! The lesson period provided ample time to work, enjoy a few snacks, and have fun with friends!

The children had a wonderful and active Splash Day this morning! We introduced water play tables, which were a huge hit.

The children will make Kool-aid Playdough for tomorrow’s Messy Art Day project!
