A dreary day…

…creates an active day with dancing, lessons, and smiles inside!

And one more day of snuggling in our winter coats before we [maybe] put them away for the season. I do wonder if the Crazy Texas Weather will slip one or two more freezing days in before mid-March!

Happy Thursday!

The weather is lovely and it’s almost time to shear the sheep and plant our gardens!

James and I don’t shear our crazy wooly sheep. We tried many years ago and failed miserably. That’s a job for Katie and Darien, two wonderful professionals with a great YouTube channel (you can find them by searching Right Choice Shearing) and lots of wisdom and patience!

Happy Lizard Day!

Ms. Yenifer brought her uromastyx lizard and her crested gecko to visit today. The younger friends have been reading A color of his own, by Leo Lionni, and everyone was able to connect with a real lizard today using their eyes to observe, but not their hands to touch!

Some of the friends were not quite as excited to see our scaly visitors and sat closer to the back and that’s ok. The Spontaneous Sealions also came to visit the lizards, but I was not able to take pictures. Sorry I missed them!
