A fun Friday ahead!

A few children have already told me that they plan to dress as Mr. McGregor and chase all the Peter Rabbits they see at the school on Friday! I’m looking forward to those shenanigans 🙂

The older friends practiced sequencing and illustrating their chosen Beatrix Potter work before their dress-up day at the end of this week.

One week until our Beatrix Potter Dress Up day!

And just one day until the Poetry Recital!

If you’re not sure what your child should dress up as next Friday, Ms. Adriana and Ms. Blanca’s classes chose Peter Rabbit as their story. Ms. Gabi’s class chose Potter’s story The Pie and The Patty Pan. The main characters in that story are a cat named Ribby and a dog named Duchess–and, of course, a pie 🙂

An incredible exchange!

Thank you so much, Parents, for your support with bringing a wrapped gift for your child’s friend today. The exchange was amazing: the children gave their wrapped presents away–not always easy for a young child!–and then received a new surprise from a friend. And their fingers were able to get a fine motor workout as they tore through all that wrapping paper to see the new addition to their home libraries!
