We had a great time creating a tomato/cheese/ritz cracker hat for the Cat and enjoying our pretzel/white chocolate/green M&M “green egg and ham.” The children’s hats were amazing and so unique!

Just a reminder that the Book Fair will end on Friday!

The Book Fair is set up in the front room and looks amazing! I love to see what different books draw students’ attention.

The older friends made a worm composter jar this morning–and our younger friends were able to see the many sweet worm friends we added to the jar! What does a worm do? The children will see on Monday if the earthworms blended the soil and sand and left any castings for us!

This experiment is one of the many we love from Mason Jar Science.

We hope you are having an equally amazing time. It was so interesting to see map fever strike one of the classrooms today!

A few friends asked me today: the book fair starts next Monday, 3/38 and runs until Friday, 4/1.

We can’t wait to see what books Ms. Adriane will bring to school this time!

We were spared the brunt of last night’s storm in Pflugerville, thank goodness! I hope any friends and family you may have in other areas of Texas–and the other affected states!–are doing well.

Our book fair starts in about a week and a half! We’re so excited!

Francesca and Settimia are raising five chicks! All chicks are named some version of ‘McFluffy’–a tradition my son started. When they’re a little older, they’ll earn their musical names!
