These last two months of the year blur together in a flurry of activity. Save these dates on the calendar for our last few activities of 2021!

11/3: Thanksgiving Feast assignments sent home in children’s lunchboxes. More information headed your way with the notes, email, and blog!

11/8: Fill the Tundra Toy Drive for SafePlace begins

11/17: Thanksgiving Feast

11/22-11/26: MMS closed

12/2: Children draw names for Book Exchange friends. Notes go home in lunchboxes.

12/3: Fill the Tundra Toy Drive ends; Mrs. Rachel drives all toys to SafePlace warehouse!

12/11: Poetry Recital

12/16: Book exchange!

12/22: Last day of school for the 2021 fall semester. We’ll see you all on Monday, January 3^rd for the new year!

This recipe was a little tricky and very sticky! I have huge respect for the vendors in South America who are able to fry these up in perfect little ‘o’ shapes and sell them.

Here’s the recipe we used. We eliminated the syrup due to the copious amount of sugar.
