Our visit from Bonzo Crunch and reminder that MMS closed tomorrow

Reminder that MMS will be closed tomorrow for our Tidy Up Day!

The children didn’t have a good time with Bonzo Crunch—they had a FABULOUS time. I don’t think I’ve ever heard a group of children laugh so loudly! Rick (aka Bonzo) later told me that they were one of the best groups he’s ever performed for—raucous and enthusiastic, but very calm and attentive the second he needed them to be!

Our last Messy Art Day!

If you haven’t tried drawing with wet sidewalk chalk, I highly recommend experimenting with this enjoyable and relaxing activity in the warm July weather!

A busy week!

Ms. Adriana’s Parent Orientation will be on 7/27 from 6:00-6:45.

Ms. Gabi’s Parent Orientation will be on 7/28 from 6:00-6:45.

Marimont will be closed to students on Friday, 7/30, for a school Tidy Up and training day.

Teacher training in Georgetown and this morning’s playtime!

Some of the teachers had a great time painting and learning at last night’s training in Georgetown! It was a great review for all of us about how to model embracing successes and mistakes.

This morning was beautiful! We had our roaring dinosaurs prowling the playground, caves being built around the little playground, and a busy game of hide and seek!

Reminder: Parent Orientation for Ms. Jerical’s class tomorrow!

We had a wonderful Splash Day in this balmy weather!

Ms. Jerical’s Parent Orientation will take place in her classroom (in the back building, second door to the right). Just a reminder this meeting is for the parents, so please keep all students at home. We can also arrange a one-to-one conference if tomorrow night will not work for you! We look forward to seeing you all there!
