We’ll enjoy a musical circle time!
Older friends will also receive their moon journals today.
Reminder about our Drum jam session this Thursday!
I can’t wait to see our students’ creativity!
A fabulous Friday!
I hope you enjoy a productive and relaxing weekend! Enjoy working on the drum for Thursday’s drum show 😊
Enjoying a beautiful Thursday!
Tesla and Iggy visited to show the children a little more about how to produce sound with an instrument today!
Would your child like a moon journal?
This week, we begin our moon studies with an impressionistic, story-based lesson. Next week, the afternoon group will take home a moon journal so they can begin recording their moon phase observations.
Our younger friends will also learn about the moon. If your child is 3 years of age or younger and you would like for them to have a moon journal, please email your classroom teacher. We’ll make sure to send one home with your kiddo next week!
Happy Tuesday to you!
I hope you all had a wonderful holiday yesterday. The autobiographies that the children brought in the morning were amazing!! Thank you so much for guiding your children to craft such careful products that they feel so passionately about!
MMS closed Monday, 1/18, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
I hope you all have a wonderful day!
Laying out the solar system
Today, the older children in afternoon circle created our solar system with proportionally sized planets and distances. Our school building was the sun! We had to carefully count our paces between our planets!
Reminder: MMS closed 1/18 in observance of MLK Day!
Parents of children older than 4 years, please look out for an autobiography assignment today. We have been reading Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s biography, Big Words, during afternoon circle and learning about his life!
