Next semester will focus on American music through the decades. We’ll start with the 20s-30s in August and work our way to the 70s in December.

If you have a favorite song or artist from those periods, let me know! We can’t include the Beatles or The Rolling Stones, but we have Elvis, Diana Ross, Frank Sinatra, and B. B. King!

Here’s my 50s list so far: Elvis, the Supremes, the Drifters, the Shirelles, Dean Martin, Chuck Berry, Johnny Cash, Ritchie Valens, and Thurston Harris.
