What a bittersweet day: to all my dear friends and family leaving Marimont today, you will be missed! But I know you have an amazing future full of adventure, growth, and learning ahead of you! Please come visit whenever you like!

I saw so many Emily Wurramara, Gawurras, Ash Dargans, and Peter Sculthorpes. Thank you, Parents, for helping us celebrate our Australian composers!

Thank you, Parents, for supporting our bake sale. The treats sold out in under an hour and we raised $220! It is amazing that our little school in Pflugerville can help Bush Uni and its students.
Tomorrow, we will have our final celebration of the 2018-2019 school year when we all dress like our favorite composers/musicians from this semester! Gawurra, Emily Wurramara, and Peter Sculthorpe are the musicians we have listened to during class. Your children are very welcome to dress as another composer/musician if they like, however.

These final pictures feature our kindergarten class as they finish their grammar necklaces!

The children have cooked delicious Tim Tam brownies, ANZAC cookies, and cherry ripe balls for sale tomorrow!
All treats are $3! Please stop by the table and see all of us in the morning.

I hope you all have a safe and relaxing holiday!
Just some reminders for the upcoming week:
1. On Wednesday, the children will hold a bake sale for Bush University in Australia. They do not need to bring any sweets; they’ll make them here at school with their teachers!
2. On Thursday, we will conclude our Australian Music studies with Dress-like-a-Composer Day. The composers we have listened to this semester are Emily Wurramara, Gawurra, Ash Dargan, and Peter Sculthorpe. Costumes do not need to be extensive. Some parents have just used name tags in the past or faux tuxedo t-shirts! They can make a fake didgeridoo out of a paper towel roll if they would like to be Ash Dargan!
3. Friday is our last day of the school year. Monday, June 3rd, is our first picnic day and the start of our summer program! Please check your child’s lunchbox for more news and our weekly summer schedule.
What a success! Thank you to all the parents in Ms. TaQueria’s class for their donations and for their support!
Thank you again, Parents, for your support. Over 4 nights, you all donated over $1,000. Our patio will be beautiful!

…at our final Art Show tomorrow, 5/23, at 6 p.m. I can’t wait to see the art, the recital, and the fancy dress 😊 We will also conclude our fund raiser for the back patio!
Thank you to the Parents of Ms. Gabi’s class for your support and your very generous donations! It was so nice to speak with everyone and to see the children recite their poem. Your kiddos did an amazing job with their art work.
…will have their art show tomorrow, Wednesday, 5/22, at 6 p.m. Feel free to dress up! The students will also recite their poem as a group. We will have a donation jar so we can raise money for material and equipment for our back patio!
Thank you, Parents, for supporting the children and the school! The crowd was huge for such a small classroom and the little ones did so well with their recitation 😊 Thank you for your kindness and help towards reaching our goal!
