During staff training/cleaning day, the lead guides and assistants will guide the newer teachers towards a more hands-on knowledge of a Montessori principle through a structured activity. This year, we had help guiding a student who was being rather uncooperative with their shoes (Ms. Joanna did a great acting job!), ensuring a prepared environment, and how and when to guide children in their environments. One of the things I love to watch is the response of each different teacher to similar scenarios!
