For all of our dear friends who said goodbye today, please come back and visit! We treasure each of you as unique and amazing growing people who will define the future!

We will be closed on Wednesday, August 1st, for teacher training and school preparation. We’ll see you all on the 2nd for the first day of school!

I drove to Buda this afternoon to pick up seven new silkies–white 3-week-old chicks and gray 3-month old chicks. They are at the school and accepting visitors! We’ll name them when they’ve acclimated for a month or so–and when we can tell the roosters from the hens! It’s so difficult with silkies 😉

It was wonderful to see all of you after the weekend!

Learning to choose

If you are looking for summer reading, I highly recommend her book of short essays Building Cathedrals, not Walls.
