We hope you all had an amazing and relaxing Memorial Day weekend.

Hello Parents!
The very first day of our summer program will be Splash Day! Awesome!
For Splash Day, each child needs to come to school dressed in their bathing suits with clothing layered on top. They will need to wear their tennis shoes and socks to school in the morning.
In a bag, each child will need to bring underwear, a towel and water shoes that cover their toes. To help keep all the children safe, please ensure that the plain swim shoes cover the child’s toes completely. This is an example of appropriate foot wear for Splash Day:

Children who wear flip flops or other very loose fitting shoes like Crocs will be invited to play with bubbles, but not to run in the water.
Please label all items very clearly with black sharpie. We have quite a few children who attend summer program. We want to help each item go home with the correct student!
On a final note, if your children are in more than one class, please send a separate swim bag for each child. This step helps keeps everything organized between the children in each class!
Thank you for your help, Parents! I will update the blog with pictures of everyone enjoying the bubbles, watermelon and water!
Hello Parents!
This is a friendly reminder that we will be closed Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day. Have an excellent day!
I’ll create a special Splash Day post next Monday! Have a safe and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend.

Hope you had a fabulous day!

We hope you had a wonderful day, too.

Dear Parents,
Just a reminder we are closed Monday, May 28th for Memorial Day.

The artichoke bloomed! We’ve been waiting patiently for a month or so.
Our last dress up day of the year was great! We had composers from all time periods–from Beethoven to the modern soundtrack composers to Justin Timberlake. And two Ali Farka Toures showed up 😊

Two parents, Alexis and Genevieve, also came to share with the children about their professions. Thank you so much, Alexis and Genevieve! I know that the children enjoyed the discussions!

Our graduation ceremonies for future first graders and kindergarteners are occurring on Saturday, May 19th. Please email me if you have any questions at all!
