I apologize for my delay in posting pictures today. Hope you all have a great night!
The afternoon classes finished their tree studies with an art project.

Hello Parents!
Our poem this month is “Autumn” by Emily Dickinson.
Here are the words, if you would like to say the poem with your child!
The morns are meeker than they were,
The nuts are getting brown;
The berry’s cheek is plumper,
The rose is out of town.
The maple wears a gayer scarf,
The field a scarlet gown.
Lest I should be old-fashioned,
I’ll put a trinket on.
Dear Parents,
Just a reminder that we will be closed tomorrow, September 4th.
Have a great holiday!
We will see you on Tuesday, September 5th, for a brand-new month of learning and fun! Have a safe holiday weekend!

…Copland and da Vinci! This is a video of Copland himself playing one of his piano concertos! We won’t listen to this particular song in class, but I thought the children would love to see the composer playing his work! He’s pretty spry for his age in this video 🙂
