Time to mark your calendars for the upcoming poetry recitals.

Ms. Stefanie’s class will recite on October 7th at 9 a.m.

Ms. Joanna’s class will recite on October 14th at 9 a.m.

Ms. TaQueria’s class will recite on October 14th at 10 a.m.

Ms. Jerical’s class will recite on October 21st at 9 a.m.

We may not have been able to play outside this morning, but we will enjoy an extended work period and a circle full of dancing!

I hope your week is flowing along nicely. The first poetry recitals will begin the first weekend of October–already! Ms. Stefanie’s class will recite their poetry on Saturday, October 7th at 9:00 am.

In a well-run classroom, the children and the adults guide the intellectual chase together. The children provide initiative, curiosity and their will to work (and they love to work!). The adults are responsible for guiding the chase in a way that satisfies the needs of the child and challenges their minds!

Is it really the middle of the week? The front classroom’s routine was back to normal today. They enjoyed their lessons and snack!

While Ms. Jerical and Ms. Joanna’s class had their portraits taken in the morning, work time continued as usual for students in the back classrooms!

I realized that I totally forgot to mention anything about actually ordering pictures!

In a few weeks, your child will come home with small proofs and a link to a personal account where you can order their portraits online. There will also be a form to fill out if you would like to complete it and return it to school. Simon tries to minimizes waste by keeping most of the ordering online–which we appreciate!
