Women’s celebration and Stewards of Children

Hello Parents,

A few dates to mark on your calendar:

1. The Stewards of Children class is on Wednesday, March 29th, at 6:30. Pizza is on the menu! You may want to bring an adult-sized chair for the class. It will last until 8:30. The class covers how to identify and help prevent childhood sexual abuse.

2. The teachers are dressing up as famous females from history next week on Thursday, March 30th to celebrate International Women’s month! Please feel free to join us! What about the boys? They can dress up or bring in a picture of a famous woman or a woman they admire (Moms, that’s you!) to share. This was not a planned school event outside of staff, but I wanted to give everyone the chance to participate!

Please let me know if you have any questions and have a fabulous day!

Welcome, Zoo Man!

Every 3 months, the zoo director of the Capital of Texas Zoo comes to visit us with a menagerie of animals. He is very passionate about his work and is extremely invested in reptile conservation with other zoo programs around the world. We always end the zoo visit with a snake!

Oops!

Hello Parents!

I am having trouble uploading the pictures from our zoo show today. I will try to post them tonight as I watch Grimm 😉

Have a great weekend,

Rachel

Happy Friday!

We may have some rain this weekend, so I hope all of our healthy families can get out and play in puddles. And I hope all of our kiddos who are sick can eat a big bowl of soup, cuddle in blankets and watch some TV between naps!
