Have a great weekend!

Hello Parents!

I am at a training all day today (I know…again, right?!).

Be on the lookout for important communication headed your way soon. The teachers will send enrollment notes for next year and summer program home to everyone as well as progress reports for this month. Some students (kindergarteners) will also receive a learning journey packet.

Please email me if you have any questions at all. Have a fabulous weekend!

What a morning!

It was so neat to see the teachers dressed up and some of the children brought in pictures of women they admire. One child even dressed up as her teacher….which was adorable!

Ms. Taqueria as Harriet Tubman and Sadie as Ms. Taqueria!

Jeremiah and the woman he admires–his mom!

Great day for shearing!

…compliments of the lovely Rae Moore, our sheep had their wool sheared. They were not very cooperative at the time, but they’ll be happy about the cut in June and July!

Rain!

I went outside to snap pictures of everyone and found I was too late! The rain had already moved in!  Fortunately, none of us are made of sugar, so we didn’t melt 😉

Making an anemometer!

Dear Parents,

Today, in afternoon circle, the children worked together to build an anemometer. We took our instruments outside to measure the wind speed after we built them!

This project was a group effort, so I am sending home instructions to make your own anemometer with your child!
