Thank you, Parents!

The teachers received their special baskets today–they LOVED their special treats and goodies! Thank you to everyone who helped make their holiday baskets!

WOW!

The toys are snugly placed in the Tahoe–ready for Christmas delivery!

The amount y’all brought is amazing and so wonderful! So many children will have a better Christmas because you all were their Santa Clauses!

Ava and Weston will be our to-scale models to show how HUGE the toy pile was.

The Tahoe is packed! Amazing!

Holiday books!

Dear Parents,

This week, we’re diving into a few of my favorite holiday books.

The children will read Seven Spools of Thread by Angela Shelf Medearis, Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins by Eric A. Kimmel (and illustrated by my FAVORITE illustrator, Trina Schart Hyman) and, of course, The Grinch that Stole Christmas by Dr. Seuss.

I encourage you to look these books up–Hershel and the Hanukkah Goblins is a classroom favorite year-round!

The Zoo Man visits!

It was a little drizzly, so we met the Zoo Man under the tarp in our new music area! He brought a macaw, hissing cockroaches, a python and a coatimundi from the Amazon!
