Hello Parents,

I was able to catch a few friends in action today and a little preparation work for our upcoming holiday. The children in afternoon class cut papel picado today!

I hope you are all having a fantastic day (imagine me saying that with a Nacho Libre accent)!  

Last week, the older children studied movement with a marble, pan, piece of paper and paint. They repeated the experiment today with a shower curtain, a painted apple and a bunch of excited friends!

Dear Parents,

This month, we have been learning a little bit about the traditions behind Dia de los Muertos–and how it is not Halloween!

On October 27th, we will have a parade and a party in the early afternoon. If you are able to cook a dish for us, or bring a Mexican treat, we would much appreciate the addition to our party!
