Dear Parents,

Please dress your children in bright, happy clothing for our parade…I hope they bring their appetite to school, too 🙂 We have a few superb Mexican dishes headed our way to help supplement our lunch. If your child doesn’t eat all their lunch on Thursday, they were enjoying delicious food and treats to celebrate this special day!

Between all three classes, many different activities are being accomplished so independently by your wonderful children!

Hello Parents!

At Marimont, we all dress in pajamas and sneakers for Halloween. Please allow your child to dress in their pajamas (no superheroes, please) and sneakers on Monday, October 31st.

If you are looking for something fun and free to do this weekend that correlates with our studies, the Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin is holding the Viva la Vida Festival on Saturday, October 29th from noon to 6 p.m.

Dear Parents,

Our Dia de los Muertos party is next week! I will take lots of pictures of the parade and of the children enjoying the treats. If you have not signed up to bring a treat, there is still time! Thank you so much for your support!

Poor meteorologists. Texas is a tough state to predict weather in. The day looks gorgeous (so far!)–and we’re having fun!
