Splash Day fun!
Update to handbook; choking hazards
Dear Parents,
I wanted to let you know that we are modifying out food policy and snack food here at Marimont.
We ask that all grapes, hot dogs and carrots sent to school with your child are cut lengthwise. Hot dogs should then be cut into smaller, edible pieces. Grapes and hotdogs should not be cut width-wise because the diameter of the food will remain the same and poses a choking threat to the child. Grapes, carrots and hotdogs that are sent to school uncut will be sent back home uneaten. We will provide an alternate food from snack if necessary.
James and I re going to find a replacement for popcorn on our snack menu by next Monday. We will still have movie and popcorn day for the last week of summer.

Thank you so much for your help and your support to keep our children safe!
