This is a reminder that the school will be closed tomorrow for classroom preparation. The first day of school will be Tuesday, August 2nd.

For all my future entomologists out there, this guy was hanging out on Mr. James’ window–he was about as long as my finger! Just gorgeous! 

Hello Parents!

I wanted to invite you all to our annual Meet-the-Teacher nights here at Marimont. This is a chance for the adults to gather and to talk about what the upcoming school year will be like and for any questions you may have to be addressed in a group setting. If you have a questions, chances are that someone else has the same question, too!

Please remember to leave the kiddos at home. Some of the more procedural aspects of the meeting will bore them.

Here are the dates for each class:

Ms. Joanna: Tuesday, August 9th from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Ms. Stefanie: Wednesday, August 10th from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Ms. TaQueria: Thursday, August 11th from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

Mason works with his digraphs and blends (that smile cracks me up!). Drew is so proud because he pieced together an extremely complicated model of the heart that he had been working on for a few days. Congratulations, Drew! That was tough work! Gray serves himself snack very carefully. Violet models a pattern making work with the brown stair and pink tower to Jianna. Aubrey sings the continent song. 

I cannot believe this summer is over. We’ll have fun eating watermelon, blowing bubbles, and playing in the hose on our last Splash Day tomorrow!

…but we can still have fun! Kaitlyn works on stamping while Rubi cleans up her paint. On the other side of the building, Jase shows great focus to clean up a paint experiment. In the front, Daylen cuts carrots while Sebastian observes.  

Raiden finishes an art project. Brennan works with Legos. Dax and Ms. JoAnna work with dinosaur matching.

Iggy works on an addition lesson; Hank works with Jordan on building and Sophie perfects her pencil grip with small peg practice.
